I awoke to some crazy white stuff falling from the sky! It was heavy, wet snow – the kind that makes excellent snowmen and snowballs. Too bad I don’t have any Grandkids staying with me. They could have had a lot of fun. Then the fog moved in and settled until early afternoon. I haven’t had to drive in fog for awhile and half-block or less visibility isn’t fun to drive in.
I’d be thinking “White Christmas” this year except it is already almost melted. Snow just doesn’t usually stay around very long in Page, Arizona.
Tune in later for more.
On this stormy day in Northern Arizona, I have decided that it is high time that I begin talking about the things that are near and dear. I really do love where I live! I live in the town of Page, Arizona where I am able to view the constantly changing panorama of red rocks near blue water. In my big back yard, I have several National Parks, National Monuments, State Parks and National Recreation Areas. Lake Powell and Glen Canyon are very close and even the Grand Canyon (both North and South Rims) are close enough for frequent visits. I will be writing about these areas in my future posts so stay tuned for more.
